Welcome to Southbrook School's website
Southbrook School is a state-owned, full primary school catering for approximately 337 students aged 5 - 13 years. We have 11 classes from New Entrants to year 8.
Our school is located at the southern end of Rangiora, a rapidly growing town in the centre of the Waimakariri District.
Our Mission Statement reads: Southbrook School provides a learning environment where commitment to achievement and concern for others are paramount.
This mission statement provides the foundation for the education we provide in partnership with our community. The following strengths ensure that we succeed in providing a quality learning environment:
- A committed, caring and enthusiastic team of teachers
- Supportive parents, trustees and PTA
- Programmes that cater for a wide range of learning needs
- Well equipped and attractive facilities
Our reputation has been built through our efforts to maintain high academic standards, to promote excellence in sporting, cultural and outdoor education programmes, and to develop a caring ‘family' atmosphere.
